Moving Day

Well, we’re are finally on the road. We spent Sabbath with friends and family at Granite Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church, where we were dedicated for service.  Then, just after the sun went down, the packing marathon began. With much help from friends, we were able to get the truck packed and the house mostly emptied and cleaned. Unfortunately, there was still a lot of essentials that needed to be brought even after the truck was full. It was hard to say goodbye to all our friends and family, but it is good to know we will meet again someday soon if not here, then in heaven.

After a very short night of sleep, the packing began again, but mostly we threw things in the Ford Explorer to go through later. We just needed to get out of the house and on the road.

As you can see, we left the house with two vehicles packed full. One vehicle will stay in LA, so we need to get rid of some stuff and repack what’s left a little tighter. This reminds me of all the work that went into getting a video file online. The video file was trimmed, and the file was compressed, but not quite enough. It needed to be trimmed even smaller and then re-compressed even smaller. So now, the video is finally the right size to upload and you can view it under “How we got started.” Go take a look.

We love you all! Thank you so much for all of your prayers. Stay in touch!
