Mazumiapan

Dear friends, we finally arrived in Mazumiapan! It was great to finally be able to rest a little in a place we are familiar with. And even though I say familiar, there are many things that we still need to adjust to: the sun, the humidity, Spanish computer keyboards, lack of fast internet, cockroaches in the toilet and huge spiders in the kitchen, etc.

The house God provided for us to rent temporarily is really beautiful! I wish you could see it, but the USB connectors at internet cafe´s are not as reliable as the ones on our personal computers and I cannot upload any photos.

The church building is coming along. In December, we started construction on the Sabbath School building, and it is ready for the roof to go on. Also, they decided to pour a concrete floor for the sanctuary. It looks great! They were also able to get the electricity hooked up a few weeks ago.

Other great news we discovered is that the neighbor to the church, Labore, finally decided to give his heart to Jesus and was baptized two weeks ago! Praise the Lord!

Thank you for praying for us. I am almost 100 percent well, but we still have a lot of adjustments to make to be able to settle into life here. Hopefully we will be able to find a way to get internet and computers that allow us to post pictures for you to see! Miss you!
