Day 8: Almost there

Everything fit in the truck again, even with the water filter. Praise the Lord! It was hard to leave the Dulac’s behind, they were such a blessing to us. We got off to a later start than we were wishing for, but God might have shortened the distance, since we arrived in Brownsville in good time.

We did stop for lunch at a Chipotle, and we all got burritos, but mine was the only one with my name on it. Tammey got a star and David’s was labeled “his”.

Nixon was looking for a burrito with his name on it too, but there was no burrito labeled Nixon. Even so, at the end of the day, he got the last of Tammey’s and was caught red-pawed. Bad dog!

Just before we pulled into Brownsville we drove right down a storm front. Dark clouds on one side and bright sun on the other, and all of a sudden, a beautiful rainbow appeared! We all thought of the promises of God, it was such a treat.

At the hotel, we were trying to get everything done that required internet, downloading programs, uploading blog, registering international travel plans, emails, etc. And in the process, all tech questions were directed at me, and somehow I ended up with all three computers and the ipad on my lap!

It took way too long to get everything done, and in fact, it still isn’t done, but it is time to go to sleep. Tomorrow is the day. Please pray for us.
