Day 4, Re-packing…again

We are still in Phoenix, and this morning we realized we had to downsize again. Any box that had not been completely filled was re-opened and stuffed even tighter than before.

Again, we had to empty out pretty much the whole truck. I think we are getting used to this by now. One of the struggles in Phoenix was where to keep Nixon. He couldn’t come inside the house, but he didn’t get along really well with the resident dogs that live outside. Yesterday, he had trouble getting along with a female German Shepherd (either because of size, or because she insisted on licking his face). But today, after a nice romp in the park together, they came back friends.

After sorting out computer issues and laundry, Chris, Nixon and I headed out to South Mountain. It was a much more gradual incline than Camelback, which was good because I think I have blisters on my feet. After, Chris and I went to the Tempe church for a mid-week Bible study, while Tammey, David and our Phoenix friend, Dawn, headed to prayer meeting at the Gilbert Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Tomorrow will be an early morning and a long day of driving. Thank you all for your prayers!
